Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher
Infant & Toddler Room
Lead our youngest learners through nurturing, play-based care. You will develop individualized routines, communicate daily with families, and model best practices for assistant teachers.
Pre-K Lead Teacher
Pre-K Academy
Lead a dynamic Pre-K classroom that builds kindergarten readiness through structured lessons, STEM exploration, and social-emotional learning, supported by an assistant teacher.
After-School Assistant
After School Program
Support school-age children (K–5) with homework, enrichment activities, and supervised outdoor play in a fun, structured after-school environment.
Substitute Teacher
All Classrooms

What's Required
PA child care employment requirements
Pennsylvania law requires the following for all child care staff. We'll guide you through obtaining every document — don't let this list stop you from applying.
Background clearances
- ✓ PA State Police Criminal Record Check
- ✓ PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- ✓ FBI Criminal History Background Check
- ✓ Prior clearances within 1 year accepted with original document
Health requirements
- ✓ Physical exam (within 1 year of hire)
- ✓ TB test (within 1 year of hire)
- ✓ Proof of Rubella vaccination
- ✓ Child Care Staff Health Assessment (CDC-8A form)
Education & training
- ✓ High school diploma or GED (minimum for all roles)
- ✓ ECE coursework or CDA credential (lead roles)
- ✓ CPR & First Aid certification (we can help obtain)
- ✓ Mandatory reporter training (provided by BLKC)
Employment eligibility
- ✓ Must be 18 years of age or older
- ✓ Authorized to work in the United States
- ✓ I-9 verification completed at time of hire
- ✓ W-4 and PA REV-419 tax forms completed at hire
